Get to Know Kyle!

My name is Kyle Gillis and I have been passionate about fitness for many years. I believe fitness has the ability to have a positive impact on people's lives. That belief, more than anything, motivates me to keep learning and improving my craft. Underlying my passion for fitness is my dedication to helping people and for that reason I have volunteered my time as a firefighter and EMT in my community since 2019.

Improves Mood

Exercise produces chemicals that give you that "feel good" sensation. Also, an increase in blood flow results in the release of norepinephrine; which aids in stress management. 

Combats Health Conditions & Diseases

Regular exercise is key to the prevention of a whole litany of diseases and complications. This exercise increases your bodies "good cholesterol" or (HDL) and decreases unhealthy triglycerides that lead to atherosclerosis.

Energy Booster

Increasing your strength and endurance helps your body utilize oxygen more efficiently. This efficiency leads to your everyday activities to feel less fatiguing as they once had.

Improves Body Composition 

Through exercise and an active lifestyle you'll burn calories. In addition, an increase in muscle mass will lead to a further increase in calories burned that leads to achieving or maintaining a healthy weight.

Sleep and more importantly deep sleep (REM Sleep) is vital in that it allows your body to recover; preventing illness and injury. A regular exercise regiment helps you fall asleep and achieve the REM sleep you need.

Fun & Sociable

Physical activity and exercise can be fun but some days you might not have the same motivation and that's when having a friend or group can be useful to add an element of fun and hold you accountable.
